Backend Developer

We are looking for an experienced NodeJS developer to join a close-knit team of engineers working on a rapidly-evolving SaaS platform.

The ideal candidate will have professional experience using NodeJS to write API-driven web applications, preferably in a microservice context. They will be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of JavaScript.

The right candidate will join our core development team, participating in sprints to develop new features for the platform, and performing integrations with external systems.

Required experience:

  • NodeJS (2+ years)
  • Express
  • SQL
  • Git

Bonus experience:

  • Serverless architecture
  • Microservice design
  • Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google, etc)
  • TypeScript
  • Automated testing
  • NoSQL (MongoDB / Amazon DocumentDB)
  • Agile development (Scrum, Kanban, CI/CD)
  • React (there is scope to do full-stack work)
  • Docker
